This (Meaning: Love too shall pass) is an Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. Produced by C. V. Kumar under Thirukumaran Entertainment banner, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. The film, which is an official remake of the Korean film My Dear Desperado. The film released on 11 March 2016.

Production: Nalan Kumarasamy shelved a film titled Kai Neelam and began working on a remake of the Korean film My Dear Desperado for the same producers, C. V. Kumar paid ₹40 lakh (US$59,000) to acquire the Korean film's remake rights. The film had an official launch in April 2015 and began filming, with Dinesh Krishnan announced as the cinematographer and Leo John Paul as editor.[5] The film was developed under the title of Eskimo Kadhal, but was later renamed as Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum.

Plot: Kathir (Vijay Sethupathi) is a rowdy, whose only aim is to run a bar on his own. He is just back from five years of prison life and it was for his area councilor, who promised him to provide a posh life. Then, we have Yazhini (Madonna Sebastian) who ran away from her home town Viluppuram to achieve her career in IT sector. Unfortunately she loses her IT job during recession and due to financial crisis, she stays in the small flat opposite Kathir. The rest of the film is all about how these two people with drastically different dreams gel with ease and develop a liking for each other. The main theme of the story deals with a struggle of an unemployed woman engineer and her journey to success.
